Personal Property

The Medway Council do not accept responsibility for the loss of  or damage to pupils' property.

Marking clothes and other property with the owner's name is therefore of the greatest importance and parents are asked to ensure that ALL property brought to School is marked.

Lost property is kept in the entrance cloakroom and put on show regularly.

Please note that in the interest of good working habits and safety; the Governors have decided the following:

  1. The only earrings that may be worn are of the stud type. During games activities these must be removed.

  2. No other jewellery should be worn.

  3. No hair braids, extreme hairstyles, make up or nail varnish.

  4. Watches may be worn to School, but must be removed for Games activities. Staff are not allowed to take responsibility for looking after valuables. It is therefore advisable that children do not wear them on days when the class has PE etc.

  5. Items of value should not be brought into School as responsibility cannot be accepted for the loss or damage to personal property.

  6. Safe and appropriate footwear must be worn at all times in School. Bare feet or plimsolls must be used for indoor PE. For outdoor games children should change into appropriate footwear.
